Bobby Lashley-AEW update

Many expected to see Bobby Lashley appear at AEW WrestleDream, and when that didn’t end up happening during Swerve Strickland’s segment, that led to questions. Have no fear, Lashley has already signed on the dotted line and is All Elite Wrestling bound.
Based on early indications, Lashley was considered for the WrestleDream spot to debut, but it was decided against. When we asked about Lashley not being on the show, we were told considering that the likely debut would have resulted in Swerve being laid out or attacked, it’s not likely two hometown beat downs would have worked out well with the way the show ended.
As things stand, he’s expected to appear in the coming weeks, obviously aligned with the Hurt Syndicate’s MVP and Shelton Benjamin.
Lashley has not been seen backstage in AEW as of yet and was not at WrestleDream.
