WWE Bad Blood takes place tonight, and the show openers and show closers are set.

Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk in Hell in a Cell is currently slated to open the PLE, although that wasn't always the case. A month prior, the talent involved were told they were likely main eventing the show, but as of the Monday before the PLE, Punk and McIntyre were told they'd likely be opening the show, which is the plan.

Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns vs. Bloodline was set as the main event internally at least as of the time Rhodes and Reigns filmed their vignettes.

When Fightful broke the news that Rhodes and Reigns vs. Bloodline was set to main event, we were told that the reaction from fans is something WWE takes into consideration, but there were circumstances as to why the match was main eventing. Most talent at the show believe the Rock will be there, and WWE does not exactly hide when he's nearby, as it generates viewers. The Rock was at a high school 80 minutes away from the location of WWE Bad Blood. He was visiting Apalachee High for their first home football game following a school shooting last month.
