Daniel Garcia Update

Garcia hasn’t been seen since a violent attack from MJF after an International Title match with Will Ospreay. At the time Fightful reported that his deal was up in October if he hadn’t re-signed. One top name in the company believed he was staying and speculated he’d re-signed, but as of last week, that wasn’t the case.
Garcia, as of then, would see his deal expire this fall. There is interest in Daniel Garcia from WWE, as well as interest in retaining him in All Elite Wrestling.
Garcia had a tryout with WWE before signing with AEW several years ago.

2024-08-12 18:15:28 +0000 UTCHuh, is the only thing new here that his contract might expire in October? Seems like the MJF assault might actually be just part of a story since that's plenty of time to come back and get a win back, even if it's after MJF loses the belt

2024-08-12 12:16:30 +0000 UTCHe’s a fine wrestler but promo and personality wise I find him as dull as dishwater, was dreading him potentially being MJFs Wembley opponent 😂 Actually don’t think NXT would be the worst think for him, they’d 💯 make him champ and maybe develop a personality that involves more than a wee dance Just my opinion of course
