FREE POST: AEW All Out changing dates

An AEW mainstay is moving off the holiday weekend.

Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp has learned that AEW plans to imminently announce that they'll be moving this year's AEW All Out off of Labor Day weekend. The event will still take place in Chicago, but will be Saturday September 7th from the previous date of September 1. AEW sources we spoke to confirmed that they moved the show due to fan concerns about All In and All Out being too close together. As a result, the show moves from Sunday to a Saturday just before the NFL season kicks off.

In addition, we're told that AEW Collision and Rampage will film on Friday, September 6 in the Chicago area.

AEW All Out has been on Labor Day weekend since its inception in 2019. The show will air on PPV from the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, IL, just outside of Chicago. Ticket info should be announced soon as well.

Great, so they're two weeks apart rather than one.

I did like it better when they had the 4 ppvs a year , hopefully they get a deal that puts all the events on Max moving forward. That would be a huge win for the fans

Tony Casanova

Great decision. Pay for 2 ppv in 1 week is tough. Very smart choice

Christopher Hendrix

All In and All Out don't need to be so close to each other in the first place

Jeffrey Pollard

Really hope AEW decides to do Dynamite in London either prior or after All In. They would pack the O2 Arena and would be a terrific show, and look BIG and major on TV. That's something the smaller arenas are lacking lately

Robbie Wray

This is an awesome decision it will also help with hotel costs for those of us that travel in for it every year and well done with the Saturday thing 😀 👍🏻

Chris Patt

Good decision. Collision on Saturdays still feels logistically annoying. Given you either have to move it for PPVs or crowding the weekend when you have Sunday ones.

Alex KP

Better.

Keith Robinson

Smart subtle adjustment. Two weeks is best for the travel, cool down, then build back up

Michael Buckley

Good move.

Paul Komoroski

Listening to fans well done tk

Wow i’m shocked someone got through to Tony Khan. Lets see if someone can get him to let go of some of these other meaningless “traditions”

Vick

gotta let the people who get paid every two weeks a chance to afford the show lol

TorchCrawler

I prefer Hoffman estates since it's 5 minutes from my house.

Raymond Slover

A Saturday AEW PPV? Hell yeah.

Ian Henry

Having the PPVs a week apart is a punch to the wallet so honestly it’s good for us and gives them more time to build or escalate feuds. Optimally they still wouldn’t be so close but a win is a win!

heather icanhasapanic

Yay!!

Andrew Bates

Good move, I prefer Saturday ppvs a lot
