Latest on Kazuchika Okada/WWE

Early Tuesday, rumors emerged that Okada would be headed to WWE, and possibly appearing on the NXT brand first, citing sources from NJPW. However, Fightful sources close to NJPW said that is not the situation as they know it -- at least as of right now. It was reiterated that Okada seems early in his process
One WWE higher up said "that would be news to us at this point," and multiple sources on the NXT staff said they've heard nothing of the sort at this point. In addition, numerous people that Fightful has talked to within AEW believed they're very much in the running to land Kazuchika Okada.
To reiterate, anything could happen between now and the time Okada makes his decision, but we were told by sources connected to Okada, AEW, and WWE that this appears premature.

2024-01-24 15:06:22 +0000 UTCIf it is a money thing don't think TK would be outbid. If he goes to AEW. He could wrestle in NJPW as well. And AEW uses managers to help with the language barrier. It should be fun to watch.

2024-01-23 19:26:15 +0000 UTCOkada should sign with WWE and face Nakamura at WM40. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up in AEW. It really depends on what he wants. If he wants more of a challenge and to wrestle at WrestleMania specifically, then go to WWE. If he wants to come to the USA but have a more similar experience to NJPW then he should sign with AEW.
