Several wrestling free agents hit the market

QT Marshall has officially left AEW. He departed the company after being adamant that he wanted to wrestle as opposed to a front office or training only gig.
Alex Hammerstone had been the cornerstone of MLW for years. Hammerstone asked for his release from MLW midway through 2023 with years left on his deal. The two sides came to an agreement where he would work a few more dates and be a free agent at the start of 2024.
Shawn Spears’ contract with AEW has officially expired. Spears had been heavily used in the early days of AEW, but over the last year and a half, sparingly appeared on AEW TV.
Deonna Purrazzo’s IMPACT/TNA contract has expired after years with the company. Purrazzo is considered a top free agent, and has experience in virtually every other company. She had been one of the most consistently pushed talent in IMPACT, and we’re told things were amicable there. She is expected to sign somewhere imminently.
Another cornerstone, Kamille’s deal with the NWA has expired. Kamille was NWA Womens’ Champion for well over two years. Every women’s champion since the NWA rebrand has left the company within months of losing it.
While Andrade’s AEW deal has expired, he’s expected to immediately sign with WWE.

Personally I'd like to see Hammerstone and Richard Holliday show up in AEW and reform The Dynasty with MJF. I'd personally mark out but I know most people would probably be like, 'who are they'

2024-01-01 05:45:32 +0000 UTCI can see Deonna heading to AEW - TK in recent days has said he's interested in bolstering the women's division, although Giulia appears to be off limits and heading to WWE probably in the spring or summer. I could see Deonna there on Wednesday as Mariah May's opponent (probably why May's character is hesitant on saying who her opponent is).
