Charlotte Believed To Have Re-Signed With WWE.
Added 2023-12-19 20:09:29 +0000 UTCCharlotte isn’t going anywhere for quite a while.
Fightful has learned that Charlotte Flair agreed to a contract extension with WWE recently that will keep her with WWE for several more years. Madusa had said on her podcast recently that she'd heard this as well, and it took quite a while for people within the company to hear the same.
Charlotte Flair was the first extension we’ve heard of since the TKO merger, as it happened before the recently reported Dominik and Rey Mysterio deals. In addition, we’ve heard that it is a huge money increase over her last contract, and one of the highest-paid deals to a woman in WWE history. In addition, we’re told that a travel bus was included in the deal, which are becoming increasingly more common among professional wrestlers.
Unfortunately, Charlotte won't be on the road for quite some time, as she's having surgery to repair her ACL, MCL and meniscus. We wish her well.
We’re working to find out more details related to the new contract.

2023-12-19 20:59:24 +0000 UTCA lot depends on where Raw goes. I hope AEW is around the next 50 years but it has to make talent concerned about what is next.

2023-12-19 20:49:05 +0000 UTCI've not seen any doubts from anyone reputable that AEW won't get a new TV/Streaming deal. Just that its possible it won't be with WB/Discovery.

2023-12-19 20:46:31 +0000 UTCThey are willing to give out big deals as talent still underpaid as a percentage of revenue compared to ufc fighters

2023-12-19 20:29:46 +0000 UTCWhen Punk signed a big deal with WWE it was the first indication to me that TKO would be allowing WWE to give out big deals to talent. We now know her Rey & Dom signed new deals I fully expect Seth Becky & Drew to sign new deals. Also see Andrade jumping to WWE when his AEW deal expires

2023-12-19 20:27:45 +0000 UTCSo it seems like endeavor is willing to pay up?

2023-12-19 20:23:00 +0000 UTCSean, you insinuated that Becky’s deal might be the most important as far as the landscape of pay between the men and women in WWE. Do you think Charlottes deal has done that?

2023-12-19 20:21:35 +0000 UTCShe’s signed for several more years. I doubt they’re too upset at her missing 9 months. At least not upset as far as her contract goes. Injuries happen.

2023-12-19 20:20:45 +0000 UTCI'm curious when was her deal originally set to end?

2023-12-19 20:20:14 +0000 UTCIf it happened before her injury, higher ups must be pissed

2023-12-19 20:17:08 +0000 UTCTour bus in addition to a substantial raise? TKO spending their piles.

2023-12-19 20:16:32 +0000 UTCGuess that means Endeavor is willing to dish out big money to keep their top stars. It's a safe bet that Rollins, Becky, and Drew will re-sign as well.

2023-12-19 20:14:37 +0000 UTCGood for her. With the AEW TV contract in doubt this may change wrestlers opinion of jumping ship until that is settled.

2023-12-19 20:14:01 +0000 UTCGood to see that they're increasing the contracts. Good news for the other upcoming FA's and likely enticing for other talent outside of the WWE. With SRS continuing to mention the record profits they're making, there's no excuse for them not to increase the contracts.

2023-12-19 20:14:00 +0000 UTCShame she got injured, it seemed she was finally starting to connect positively with the fans and be a more human character.
