Seth Rollins' WWE Contract Set To Expire In 2024

The free agent class of 2024 might be the biggest in years.

Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, Alex Hammerstone, QT Marshall, Dustin Rhodes, Deonna Purrazzo and others have all been confirmed as having deals coming up in 2024. There’s another big name that currently has a deal set to expire in 2024 – World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

Fightful has learned that Rollins’ in June of 2024, and as of a couple of weeks ago, there haven’t been discussions regarding a contract extension. As you can imagine by his placement on the card, Rollins is well-liked and respected within the company, and we’re told that there will “obviously” be an offer made at some point, with WWE sources even indicating that he’d be made a priority.

When asking a WWE official, we were told “we would not dispute that information” as it pertains to his contract being up next year, and that Rollins would be made a priority.

WWE re-signed numerous talent to new deals in 2019 when AEW launched, locking numerous into long-term, five year deals that are up in 2024. We’re unsure if Rollins was among those.

Fightful did reach out to Rollins, but have not heard back. As things stand, both Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch’s WWE deals are up in June.

Comments

I think both leave or stay together

NewLacCity

WWE isn’t allowed to talk to MJF while he’s under contract. They “believe” isn’t he “is”

T Mar

Mox and Roman were closer

NewLacCity

He’s been re-signed. Even WWE told SRS they believe this too

NewLacCity

Mox's book suggests otherwise and, I believe, Rollins was hanging with him backstage at a GCW show a year or two ago.

David C

No he’s not lol

T Mar

Read the tea leaves man. The dude's re-signed already.

rocksolid124

They let Edge walk

T Mar

You left out MJF

T Mar

Can confirm this is happening to me as well

Corey Moore

I highly doubt either leaves. With that said, money has a way of changing decisions.

rocksolid124

One of these names is not like the others.

rocksolid124

Edge only left because WWE had no intention on using him. I imagine WWE wants to use Seth for at least another contract run. Seth vs Cody 4 is almost definitely a future plan.

Ghost_Troupe

Okay pal

Ryan Best

That wouldn't be the case at all. Rollins and Becky going to AEW wouldn't do much of anything to WWE's pockets because, unlike AEW, WWE isn't a brand that needs stars, WWE is a brand that makes stars. Rollins can go to AEW and be replaced by a new star in weeks.

Ghost_Troupe

Did you say that about Cody originally?

Troy A Palek

I think so. Just do what Randy Orton did, entertained the idea that he could go to AEW, and WWE will probably meet their demands in an effort to keep them around longer.

Sheila Antonio

He deserves to be paid among the top in the whole business

Charles Lee Ray

Agreed

Charles Lee Ray

My only question is, is wwe really going to give them significant raises?

Charles Lee Ray

Isn't Becky, Bayley and Charlotte 's deals up in 2024? With Mickie James, Kamille, Deonna Purrazzo, Giulia, Trinity, and Mercedes as free agents.

Samantha L. Sayre

Don’t see them leaving for another company, but do so 1 if not both take some time away before deciding to come back. I think both have expressed frustrations for a while, but still love the company and don’t think there’s anywhere else they’d rather be. Becky has been pretty direct about winding down in general as well. Good for them. Enjoy family and time apart for a bit.

Bruce Pettit

He is with Jimmy Jacobs (TKs right hand man)

slick

WWE is Redhot, the question is will notoriously cheap TKO want to pay them competitive wages. UFC fighters aren't paid near what they are worth

Matty Nice

I’m fully expecting them to sign to a part time deal or very flexible full time, considering Hs stance on family time.

NicksKicks

That's how mine is set as well, but for the last week or so, it only gives me the first few lines and a continue reading button on the bottom

Brian Bart

I have mine sent to Gmail and the whole article came through there

Mike Wall

Never say never in wrestling

Tucker

I know Nick Khan is sweating looking at the amount of money Seth and Becky are going to get out of these new deals, Becky or Seth just have to mention AEW 1 time in discussions and that price tag is gonna fly up

Ryan Best

We thought the same about edge and well….🤷🏾‍♂️. At the end of the day money talks. If you offer the right deal that can’t be refused then that’s that.

thaddperkins

All In 2024 vs Ospreay confirmed 👌

Alex KP

He's a hardcore company man, I can't imagine Seth leaving.

Jason O'Dell

People said that about Bryan, Edge and countless others. Anything can happen.

Chad McLaughlin

Honestly, with how well WWE is currently doing. I don't expect any of them to leave.

Sheila Antonio

Fightful, I love you, but I use to get the whole story in the email. Now I have to open my browser to read the full post. Is there a reason for the change? I mean, I'll deal with it if I have to because I love my wrestling news and articles, but I miss being able to see it in my email is all. Also, sorry if this was addressed somewhere else and I missed it. Keep up the great work!

Brian Bart

Rollins has said in interviews him and Moxley aren't really friends.

Alex Snyder

They aren't gonna go anywhere

Jakob Wedel

Seth isn't going anywhere 😂

Ky W

With the current state I don't expect this to get exciting as everyone who is with WWE will stay with WWE in the near future if they can.

Alex

I think how this feud with Punk plays out and them mending fences might play a big part in whether he stays or not. I’ve considered him a WWE lifer but that was before punk came back. I fully expect Seth and Becky to stay in the same company so I feel like if one leaves or re-signs, the other will to

Joel Wood

After the Drew contract "news" in the Summer and Triple H and Drew shooting them down I think Drew will stay tbh. Seth and Becky just get the wrestling business and I can see potentially them taking a smaller more part time role to be a family but certainly not leaving WWE.

Mark lacking

What about Max?

eric Wallis

Flameducky

I don't think it'd happen but man it'd be real interesting to see both Becky and Seth leave and do something together or separately

UntoldUnknown

Becky is more likely to leave than Seth.

Bryan

WWE should’ve renewed Seth’s deal before signing CM Punk. His price went up and if they won’t pay it I know another billionaire who will…2024 will be fun!!!

mike MOON

he would be dumb to not re sign but crazier things have happened 😂

Datdudedc

Seems like the vast majority of contracts are on the WWE side.
