Spoiler news on an AEW feud with real life heat

If you would like to avoid potential spoilers, please navigate away.

Santana and Ortiz began a feud at tonight's AEW Rampage Grand Slam tapings, which will play off of and hopefully pay off the real life issues that the two have faced for nearly two years.

Dating back to early 2022, Ortiz and Eddie Kingston both no longer saw eye to eye with Santana, though we've not been told why. Those that we've heard from in AEW said Eddie Kingston has still been verbal about it since Santana's return, but was open to working with him.

Santana and Ortiz's feud kicked off tonight after the two legitimately grew apart in 2022, to the point where they didn't want to team together. AEW sources indicated the two legitimately no longer see eye to eye but agreed to team together at All In, then launch a feud after, which is why their social media posts taking shots at each other were so public.

Comments

Most of the comments are Punk/Elite related... How are y'all not bored of talking about that?

If Punk had behaved himself the Bucks would've consented to work with him down the road. Instead he came back acting like a toddler and almost immediately got himself fired.

Sure but as reported, Punk tired to do business with the Bucks and I think being rejected set him off…I don’t agree with it. Punk, for the most part was in the wrong but the potential to make money and for AEW to level up was there and I believe TK believed that

this again? The guy who got fired had heat with Mox, Jericho, Hangman, Omega, Regal, The Bucks, Talent Relations, jobbers like Nemeth and oh yeah, Colt -the one he had real life heat with but didnt want to put the fans and company first to get a good return program. Meanwhile at AEW, two guys who used to tag together are going to have a feud after business disagreements. Maybe Mike wont bury Ortiz in a post PPV presser.

Thai is how you make money with real life heat. The fans in the social media age get sucked into any real heat. If the Bucks would have put the fans and company first, we would’ve gotten one of the best programs in modern wrestling. Instead, they opted for BFF Wrestling that’ll cause a mini exodus that started with Jade.

Santana isnt as good without Ortiz. He may be shooting his career in the foot but we will see.

What happened to Mox tonight? He was clearly supposed to win over Fenix but didn’t. Seems like he or they called an audible on the last near fall. The announce team was totally lost and the very late and new champion title card didn’t even have the gold champ border.
