Yup. One thing I love about Dakota being a true friend to IYO and even Bayley in spite her flaws is it is character development continuity from her final NXT storyline where Wendy helps her rediscover the value of friendship. Heel and all now, Kota has been loyal to her friends whereas in 2020 she would not be supportive of IYO getting opportunities or accepted blame on herself after the Bianca loss in April. There is a digital exclusive from tonight where it seems Bayley butters Kota up to buying what might be excuses. But for how long she gives Bayley benefit of doubt remains to be seen. Glad they seem to be keeping direction from the winter/spring. Some WWE stories lack but this one I feel has been a nice long-term since SS 2022 that often gets overlooked in favor or 'well they lost too much." at a point, it felt loses were on purpose. Of course I admit bias since I look for every little detail per project I work on.
