Update on CAPTAIN INSANO

Captain Insano shows no mercy.

In late 2022, Paul Wight finally made his return as Captain Insano, a character from the 1998 Adam Sandler movie, The Waterboy. This was made possible, as in March 2021, All Elite Wrestling filed for the trademark of Captain Insano, allowing them the rights to use the name. However, that may not be the last we’ve seen of Captain Insano.

Fightful has been told that there has been Captain Insano gear being made for a possible use of the character, though we haven’t heard many details beyond that. Wight hasn’t wrestled since March 2022. Wight has said recently that it's a possibility for All In. Beyond that, we heard that a match was actually discussed for the show -- Captain Insano, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy (or a replacement) vs. Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal and Satnam Singh. However, Jeff Hardy can't get into the UK, and we've heard Satnam Singh may have had complications, too.

Adam Sandler is a noted wrestling fan, as he admitted in a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet. We’ve not been told about any Bobby Boucher integration.

....a mystery partner for a potential pre show trios match? Well, life is a mystery

I'm glad that they didn't do that match because it would have been horrible.

SRS mentioned that Fox hasn't worked internationally since 2016. But I didn't hear if he confirmed it was passport/visa issues or not.

That would be hilarious

Oh, I must have missed that. When did you report it?

Can you ask why AR Fox was just randomly pulled off the All In card? I’m sure there’s some reason beyond the storyline

Maybe all out?
