Sareee/Sarray talks NXT run, WWE departure, KAIRI

Ahead of her upcoming Sareee-ISM Chapter II show, Fightful's Scott Edwards had the chance to interview Sareee (fka WWE's Sarray) for the first time! She discussed a number of topics including her time in WWE, working with NXT Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton, and returning to Japan.

When talking about the time with WWE, Sareee was very appreciative of getting to meet so many different talents and staff members that helpednher during her time there. She also added that the number one thing she learned while with the company is the importance of an opportunity. Having to work for those opportunities to get on TV was very different from her time in Japan where she was able to get on every show. She said that not waiting for the chance but creating them was a key part of what she learned.

Sareee's main feud during her time in NXT was with current NXT Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton, who she's been a big fan of and spoke highly of after her departure. Sareee said that she's very proud of what Stratton has accomplished, citing her strong heart and discipline. She then said that she wants to meet again somewhere down the line no matter where that may be.

Finally, when talking about returning to Japan, Sareee made her main goal simple to us: She wants to show the world her strong style pro wrestling. She wants to increase the traditional Japanese women's pro wrestling style again around the world. She mentioned that the biggest chance in between her time in Japan is how popular Joshi wrestling has become which only plays more to her goals.

Sareee had even more to say about teaming with KAIRI, explaining how not only does she want to team but to face off down the road as well.
