A Pandemic-Era WWE Release is technically under WWE contract, what they can/can't do

Fightful Select has learned that Tyler Breeze has been under a deal with WWE specifically tied to the UpUpDownDown brand for quite some time. We have not learned if the deal has any wrestling provisions or restrictions associated with it, outside of a WWE source saying that it does prevent him from appearing on AEW programming.
Breeze’s return to the ring was announced for Prestige Wrestling for September 1. Those we spoke to put over Breeze’s investments outside of the ring, saying that he was several steps ahead of his wrestling career as far as preparing himself for life outside it. Specifically, he helps run Flatbacks to train wrestlers, and made several smart real estate investments.

I'm glad he's still getting a paycheck and hopefully the Endeavor deal doesn't mess anything up. If he ends up leaving WWE then hopefully he can reunite with his fellow DaParty members, Claudio and Adam Cole, in AEW.
