I just think they want the titles on Roman as long as a possible. And since Cody is the biggest face and merchandise seller in the company and way over by the crowds it makes more sense he at least wins Roman with the help of Usos and eventually Solo.

2023-06-24 08:13:34 +0000 UTCDave has a great rep, but after watching his video about the "legal papers" sent to punk before the collision announcement and how it was really bad....and booking Jacksonville as a backup to chicago for the first collison show.....then it seems most of it was refuted or just very different than what went down (just new things in his contract to sign..probably not new demands from punk but protection for AEW). I guess when you have sources and they give information, sometimes the language can paint a very different picture of what is going on. Still, that whole thing really did lower Dave's Credibility with me.
