2023-04-24 18:39:03 +0000 UTCI'll say this much. I admittedly don't know how long back injuries take to heal naturally, but if it was taking long enough that she finally had to vacate the title, I think it's safe to say she needed surgery from the start.

I remember I found it odd when she had won the title in San Antonio and didn’t do anything in ring really at all from there. Her promos were always backstage or at the top of the entrance ramp. Hope she comes back eventually.
