Wrestlemania News: Night 2 Match Order, backstage news, more

- We're told that Vince McMahon was not shy about giving input in Gorilla Position Saturday night. Talent told us that they even saw him around their hotel.

- Those that we spoke to said Charlotte Flair was fine after a physical match on Saturday.

- Several were asking about Charlotte's future in wrestling after her loss to Rhea Ripley. Charlotte Flair told Fightful this past week that she was hoping to break her father's record. (Patreon originally cut this sentence off. Apologies)

- The plans for Legado Del Fantasma to be involved with WrestleMania were set up months ago, we're told.

- WWE sources indicated that the company was very happy with how things went during night one, including general fan reception.

As of late Saturday night, the WrestleMania match order is as follows:

- Brock Lesnar vs. Omos

- Women's tag team showcase

- Gunther vs. Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre

- Asuka vs. Bianca

- Edge vs. Finn Balor

- Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes

Please note, this is subject to change. We will have a full rundown, producers, and more tonight -- however, this was the revision as of Saturday night.

Comments

Completely agree. Plus remember those secret segments that were reported? I think some of them are happening tonight and will be chock full of surprises.

Matthew McMillen

It seems like Trips is getting the two weakest matches out of the way with Brock vs Omas & The Woman’s showcase. Either that or Brock lobbied to open the show to beat the LA traffic

Matt Hennessy

Triple H knows what he is doing with the match order. Night 1 was great. Something Tells me that Night 2 is going to be more spectacular

Kamonte Jackson

The crowd was fire all last night I'm sure they'll be the same tonight

There doing Bianca Vs Asuka dirty and for sure the 2 LONGEST matches are going back to back

Darren Lloyd

Probably with Bobby Lashley

Jon Blain

OR. They’ll do exactly what they did last night to prevent that.

Joseph Cloud

Hopefully. Time will tell

Anthony W Sharp

HIAC right before the main event? That’s going to be nuts. Fans are going to burn out.

thaddperkins

I do NOT him back. WWE has never ever been this good (including attitude era) but with him being this hands on he won’t be able to help himself for long

Anthony W Sharp

Brock match is most definitely gonna be the hot start if this past Monday is any indication.

Mauricio Castro

Orrr he’s there to give input on the operations for the first mania ever without him at the helm? He was giving feedback to triple h on operations and pacing of the show probably, because you could tell by Michael coles mannerisms he damn sure wasn’t yelling in that guys ear all show

Justmask

The way the sentence ended could have simply meant that she was hoping to break. No need to try and imply your subscribers are stupid or should know how Patreon works

ARose Lab

My biggest question is the pacing, why not start off hot with Triple Threat then cool down with brock & women tag, then edge & Balor, Asuka & Binca, Main Event? this pacing is going to kill the fans. Same as last night by the time the main event started last night, I was beat because of the match order

Robert Sears II

He is the smartest business man. Ever.

I feel like Charlotte breaking her dad's record doesn't really feel well deserved if it's all in one company only, ntm the whole debate about him actually winning anywhere from 19-25 world titles.

CSDX

You can keep wishing for that so much, if you want to keep thinking that way.

dhdhshdbdbdbdbjdbd Brock Lesnar going first so he can go home immediately after, the GOAT

garret

So now we can say Vince is coming back. Just a matter of when he’s head of creative

Anthony W Sharp

I think by now we know patreon cuts stuff off, fellas

Fightful Select

She was hoping to break? Not saying she doesn’t deserve it but she’s been on A LOT of breaks in the past 2 years

ARose Lab

Vince is there to make sure things run smooth, it’s literally the first mania ever without him at the helm. As long as he’s not making decisions it’s fine.

Justmask

Unless it would have been the opener, Asuka v. Belair's spot on the card was always going to be tricky/the "bathroom/concession break" spot :/
