- Fightful’s Scott Edwards had a chance to interview Ice Ribbon’s Yuuki Mashiro ahead of her retirement this Saturday at Ribbon Mania. Here are some notes from the interview. Mashiro talked about what is next for her after announcing her retirement in September, saying that she has always dreamt of being a nurse and now she will chase that dream. When asked about the Venus Clutch, a move handed down to her by Tsukasa Fujimoto, she revealed that she doesn’t plan to hand down the move to anyone moving forward. Finally, when she was asked about what makes Ice Ribbon so special, Mashiro explained how the promotion changed her for the better as she was once someone who had her head down all the time and no longer did. She had great experiences.
