I feel like he was also somewhat in shock, mentally, if not physically. No humans he's interacted with has been so blatantly hostile to him. Some have not had his best interests at heart, but mugging him for his pocket change isn't the same thing.

2024-06-23 00:52:25 +0000 UTCThat was quite fun, though I was moderately annoyed that he decided to take shortcuts with his kinesis. He was so dedicated to efficiently accomplish all he could with Union under his allowed umbrella of commands (since he was specifically told not to risk coming up with new commands). However he immediately decides to cripple progress with kinesis after being directly told that the proper way to learn is to avoid any somatic components when moving matter around. He sat in his room and brute forced the ability to wield his metal with supreme willpower, but the mention of not guiding metal with his hands is immediately thrown out. He's literally just chilling in a forest with no enemies around at the time and a monster radar built into his astral body in the form of Union. He should be aiming for perfection from the start so he doesn't have to beat out bad habits during life and death scenarios. Also kind of bugged me that he decided to go for janky Mistborn flight instead of just working on ways to train to lift himself up. Hopefully he gets over his weird hyper-innocent-idealist mindset very fast. Not expecting people to be bad and not wanting to use Union on enemy monsters when told that's how all Inquisitors fight dragons and such is silly.
