Okay. So I was halfway through this chapter last month, and I couldn’t stop thinking about book Magic’s [Reposition]. I know it’s now been a while, and this question may be answered in later chapters, but is there a reason this couldn’t serve as a lesser sort of replacement for [Teleport]? Since book magic requires skill and good visualization, not everyone would be able to do it, of course. It wouldn’t have the same problems as teleport, since you can’t be precise about it. Aisha said it would put you into an unprotected space, so there wouldn’t be security issues like with teleport. It wouldn’t be nearly as accessible and would take time for people to learn, so people will still die in the interim, but I was surprised this idea didn’t come up in conversation. Of course, if this happens and many more people get good at book magic, they will be more likely to work out that backwards renew that Quilatalap was talking about. So much has been happening in the last few chapters. The dungeon thing and copying people— I forgot about that. I’ll need to go back and read it again. I certainly feel similarly to how Eric and everyone else must be feeling, with all these huge changes.
