Bit worried that with perception not having yet debuted, Erick now has a stat that only maybe a handful of other people have--if they have stolen some from the source. Which, presently, means if they're trapped away from the rest of the world. That is, bit worried that Erick's going to be the debut star for this stat.

2020-12-23 23:59:19 +0000 UTCOh, I forgot to commend this, but the revelation that his song at the beginning of the story was much, much more important than we all thought was also an awesome revelation. Now I find myself listening to "the sound of silence" much more, somehow... Btw, I saw some people say that his interactions with the Professor where an attempt to make the story and Shades even more horrifying and what no. Personally, I found it increadibly sexy.

How did you manage to write normal Erick, unstable from intelligence Erick, and stabilized Erick? I really liked those transitions, somehow. Also, high Erick was funny, and a bit nerve-wracking knowing where and with whom he was. Big revelations, big consequences! Near and far, as well as immediate, but mostly in the future. Looking forward to them!! Finally, I really like Quillitilap (don't hit me, I'm on my phone without a way to check how to spell his name). Hopping for him to get closer to Erick, and not to become an enemy. Cheers!

2020-11-10 12:31:22 +0000 UTCI think that was the point. The shades are supposed to do things that get an emotion out of you. Killing, even in cruel and sadistic ways, is often not enough for modern readers to register a real response. So disgust is a pretty good alternative.
