His location is going to become known to Spur eventually, and probably not TOO far in the future, and I can't imagine them not putting in the resources to nuke Bulgand and his city from orbit with Erik and whatever other archmages they can hire. He's strong, but I can't imagine he will be able to survive 3 archmages who know what they are getting into.
