Prompts for the Next Kickstarted Collection: Reese in the Fallowtide!

My next collection, I suspect, will happen after I finish writing Surela 1 and return to the Fallowtide, but this time for stories revolving more around Reese (since Reese figures as a recurring minor character in Surela's trilogy, for obvious reasons). My notes call it 'Tales from Forecourt' (to make it sound somewhat like 'In the Court of Dragons,' which it would be similar to), and I'll probably run a Kickstarter for it within the next 6-9 months.

I've pulled out all the story requests that seem both relevant and do-able as suggestions for stories in this collection, but I am (as always) open to more of them. I'll probably run this call for requests one more time, after Surela 1 is in print, see if the events of that book inspire any new prompts... but I like to give you all lots of time to think.

Here's the existing list!

What else? :)

I reread the Reese books recently and realized I would also love to hear more about Lesandurel! Anywhere in his timeline, honestly - he seems like someone who's got a long and intricate story that we've barely dipped into the edges of out here in readersville... and there's that dangling thread about him looking to reconnect with Eldritch now that there are enough Eldritch who've seen and interacted with the Alliance for him to be able to find common ground with more folks, and possibly looking to start a bio-family to go with his heart-family, and... yeah, seems like there's a lot there to explore!

FOSTERAGE! Do Gale and Whisper visit Escutcheon? I admit that I really just wanna see the Eldritch noble court being messed up with all the constant shocks. Let's see who *really* is okay with the Empress aims to drag her people both onto the modern stage and into relevance. ...mostly because I fear the only thing that some of these women are hanging onto is the relevance they get from being at the top of some heap. And then the people under them, men and women both trapped in roles that were forged for them, finally start to spread their wings. Eldritch society as a whole is going through an upheaval but probably the ones who will be left behind hardest are the ones that remain short-sighted and focus only on how to politically manuever themselves into just a smidge more power instead of actually looking at the grandeur of the wider universe and seeing what can be done to be an actual liegelady for her people.
