Tiny Excerpt: Simone and the Worldlord
Added 2020-12-24 13:01:02 +0000 UTCI started writing this "short" story for the latest collection, but this first scene convinced me it was going to be at least novella-sized, so I put it on the backburner.
I thought you all would like to see that first scene, both because of the content and because it offers some insight into the writerbrain's decision-making process. (Can you tell from this first scene why I thought it would take at least 40 pages, if not more, to write the remainder?)
