Caturday, with iPad Stand

Try to pet him and he'll bite you, but prop a tablet on him and he's indifferent to you pounding on it?

Cats. -_-

Anyway! News for the week!

That's most everything, I think! I hope you're having a great weekend! *boings*

Perhaps the tablet is warm?

That posture is a trap. It means I dare you! I have back class ready to disembowel you. Or I'm too hot. Or the heater is nice. Or stroke my fluffy belly. Cats rate high on a neuroticism index, just like humans. They fascinate us, part of why we love them.

My cat does *not* like belly rubs. He will occasionally allow a chest rub, between the forelegs or up above them, but any lower and he is unhappy. -_-

I always interpret that posture as 'Rub mah Belly!' and not in the 'petting as if the cat is made of glass', but vigorously. I may have gotten a few clawmarks and a bite or two over the years, but most cats seems to like it...

Oh, wow, thanks for that, it's really interesting. I just saw him live, and he manages to do all the harmony stuff with just a 4-piece band, which was pretty neat.

Oh my gosh what is going on with the progressions in this song?? *stunned*

...but then, bizzarely, I got to the last track and, well, if he's not read Wingless and written this about the Queen and Lisinthir then something really odd is going on . "I lay me down to wash my tainted wings. I'll change my name and call off everything. I see you coming up the stairs, I'm falling down and I don't seem to care..." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xzSbPrgosc Of course, I could be just hallucinating :-)

Hi Jaguar! Currently loving the Morgan Audiobooks! They seem to be affecting me in odd ways - I was just listening to the new album by one of my current faves, Scottish Harmony Pop merchant C Duncan when this track came on "He came from the Sun", which made me immediately think of Amhric, especially the last lines "He said show me where your woes speak etc..." - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qN47HBnsRk
