Workspace!

After a trip to the Container Store and a trashbag of stuff, I feel like I'm sort of getting my office under control. (Note I don't actually have a room with a door--I'm the only person in the family without a room! This is the dining room, which we repurposed because I needed a place to work.) Today I picked up the corkboard, which I've wanted for a while, and under the desk that bin there is my Etsy jewelry storage, which replaced six smaller boxes. (!)

I spend most of my time standing at the standing desk, but I do sit sometimes to work on art or edit stuff, or when my feet are tired.

Here's the opposite side, which is always tidy:

I sleep on the round chair. Napping is an important part of the creative process.

(I say that like it's a joke, but I've spent a lot of afternoons on that chair, not really asleep and not really awake, but kind of drifting while my subconscious is ferociously at work on something.)

Also, arriving in the mail today:

That's, like, 8 packages of the epoxy stickers I use to seal the pendants I make. Customs ripped it open, something they haven't bothered to do with any of my other packages from China. I guess volume is more worrisome. Lol! Anyway, I am now TOTALLY PREPARED for the holiday season. I even bought boxes for people who want to select the 'gift wrapping' option. *wiggles brows* BRING IT ON SHOPPERS
