Writing Progress! August Round-Up

As usual, with the beginning of the new month, we look back at writing progress and sales for the previous month. Today is the writing progress! If you jump back to last month's, you'll see I was mostly done with the PG Synopsis and I was 2% into PG6.

I think you can tell what I spent most of the month doing. -_-

The PG Synopsis is as done as it's going to get at this point; I'll be releasing it this month for you all, free-to-download, and this will be the "first edition" because (of course) Book 6 isn't finished yet so the Synopsis doesn't include it. You can grab this version though, if you want to read it and see all the art (and make suggestions for improvements/additions to the final version, which I'll make available once Book 6 is out and the series is complete).

I am interested and pleased and surprised at how many of you have used the synopses as a way to get into the series. That wasn't my intention for it, but I can't say I'm sorry to have made Lisinthir, the Queen, the Emperor, and all the rest of the cast some new fans. :)

My focus, until the thing is out of my head and in your hands, is going to be PG6; I'm hoping to have the draft done by the end of October. Providing I finish that up in a timely manner, I'll give myself permission to faff around for the remainder of the year. The plan is still to tackle Dreamstorm in the beginning of 2018, so I might squish in a for-fun project after I finish up PG6.... another Twin Kingdoms, or a few short stories, or some Coracle. We'll see! My only other upcoming news for September is the Twin Kingdoms paperback Kickstarter. I'll warn you when that's about to launch.

So that's August's round-up! Sales post will come next week, after I compile the stats and mull on their significance. I'll also talk about how rejiggering my Patreon affected my income.
