Bonus: Men of the Valley Update - Sam & Morris

Yo! Been a while since I came out with an update for this pack. I did actually finish Morris back in December but didn't make a post about it since it was still technically my break. Whatever the case, here they are!

By the way, someone on nexus commented on my mod page that apparently, the winter variants of the pack weren't working all this time!?!?!? I looked around other portrait packs and turns out, I've mistitled my files. I've already fixed it so it should be fine hereon. (If you're wondering what the error was, I typed in "Winter" when it should have been "winter" in the file names; I guess it's case sensitive)

Dirty secret of mine: I uhh...don't actually play-test these portraits XD. See, I don't play stardew valley anymore and I'm really just here to make art so of course something like this was bound to come up LOL

Morris

I've been accused of making Morris hot the first time around and I intend to keep it up the second time. And if the wip of this I posted is any indication, I'd say I succeeded quite well on this. Honestly, that tweet got so many likes. More than my typical art posts even! The amount of people who were in denial about like this capitalist asshole supreme was amusing LOL.

Oh also, I made him a vampire, fangs and all. Very appropriate wouldn't you think? You don't really get to see it beyond one portrait but hey, it's there!

Sam

Let's get this out of the way: yes, I full on had Curly Mouthwashing on my reference board while I was drawing it and yes, Sam's everyday outfit is referencing his clothes as well. I have to admit, there was this urge to draw him to appear more like the ship captain but alas, this is still supposed to be Sam and I will not sway from that just because there's an excuse to draw Curly!

That aside, for some reason, I made Kent have this yellowish skin tone that's very different from the rest of the portraits I've done and since Sam here is his kid, well I might as well give him that too! I'll probably do Vincent in the same way so they can be a happy, yellowish family (minus Jodi cuz I'm never gonna draw here LOL).

So yeah, one more character and I'd be uploading this new batch publicly. And since I've already made Kent and Sam, might as well do Vincent's next!
