[New 2nd Channel Video] SCRAPPED 2015 REMIX - Donkey Kong 64 -Jungle Japes
Added 2024-04-17 11:42:14 +0000 UTCThis cover was finished in December 2015, but I decided against releasing it at the time because I didn't feel it lived up to how highly I think of Jungle Japes as a song.
There are definitely elements I'm happy with, but all in all I felt I'd written myself into a corner in a style I didn't particularly enjoy, and that the cover couldn't be salvaged without a complete rewrite. I really just wanted to move on to other projects.
For those interested in the timing of it all, this cover was supposed to be released in December 2015 between "Banjo-Tooie - Witchyworld" and "Diddy Kong Racing - Frosty Village".

I really like the way this sounds! I do wish you'd do more Donkey Kong (specifically 64 or the modern Country games) remixes, cuz they've all been fantastic so far!
