Atelier Tier, Psyche de Napoli, Group Critique (Updated)

This is the group critique stream for my Atelier Tier students. The assignment that we will be working on is the Bargue plate: Psyche de Napoli.
When: May 20th, 4pm Oslo time.
I also want to make extraordinarily clear- this critique session will focus on the challenges and lessons that the group are going through together. I will be using probably a dozen drawings, out of the 50+ that have been submitted, to point out these lessons.

2021-05-26 09:11:50 +0000 UTChi stephen on the topic of straight lines and angle breaks aside from allowing us to carefully analyze the angles of a particular line segment but it also allows us to express more the character and gesture of it? so its like were simplifying it by using straight lines and angle breaks but by then were also expressing its true character more?

I am currently undergoing cancer treatment (localized Melanoma) in the form of immunotherapy, the side effects which are requiring me to take prednisone, which in turn, is having a very interesting effect on my vision. Until I can taper off this prednisone, I will not be doing much art, because Iโm not seeing very well, but I just wanted to let you know Iโm going to continue to support your channel I love everything you do and I canโt wait to get back to drawing with you.
