I presume that she might be turning into a ghoul. Especially since if I remember correctly when completely drained, usually by ghouls & not including nosferatu, the victim tends to turn into a ghoul.

One where she had been drained dry and wouldn't rise due to being drained in a way where she somehow avoided infection or wouldn't rise. Mostly due to the way she was just laying there. It made me think like in typical vampire media she was drained dry then her dead body was just tossed aside.
