This game has aged worse than I remember...

Man, I used to LOVE playing Sims 3. I felt like when Sims 4 came out, it was just a step backwards. I ended up getting 4 a few months ago and actually enjoying it, especially with all the great vampire content in. I havent played it much, but one thing I havent checked for it is if it had a pose player like sims 3 did.

Well, long story short, I decided to go back to sims 3 to use the pose player and poses I installed years ago to take photos to use as references for upcoming art and... my god... Sims 3 is HORRIBLY optimized! It took my PC nearly 10 minutes to load everything and get into the actual game. My PC is from 2016 and is relatively powerful. Sims 4 runs perfectly on it, but sims 3?? Jesus... if it werent for the fact I had so many poses already available to me in 3, I’d start looking into a pose player for 4, because this is insane. The menus are so laggy it’s nearly unplayable. I dont know how I got so much enjoyment from this game back then lol

Sims 3 is a very nostalgic game for me though. I created a lot of OCs using mods and the sim creator. Actually, Mila herself is an OC I created using Sims 3, all the way back in 2012! I created a waaay different story around her back then! The main thing I’ve kept about her has been that she was always a vampire hunter with a secret vampire fetish.
