Writer's Update

I'm sure you can tell.

I hit a little bit of burnout last month. Not enough to seriously impede me, but just enough to wear me down. It happened around the time I had to write the ending to the second book (Morgan arc).

I realized I'm not like the writer from DOTF and the PH. I can't keep stretching out books more and more. It needs to have an ending, a SOMETHING. I appreciate what they can do, but I'm not a pop fiction serial writer. It's not built into me.

That means I'll have to really really plan out Grey for the long haul. It's a minimum 9-book, likely 10-book series. Otherwise it won't work. It's also much much smaller in scope. Walker's creating worlds and screwing around with entire Universe's (forthcoming). Alexander will not be doing that.

It's designed like the start of a Fable, and has a clear-cut end.

It's likely, the week before my spring break hits (March 11th-15th), I'll take a break. I'm going to do this intentionally so I can mentally prep for a serious haul in writing. Try to knock out 4-5 chapters at once and finally pull 2 months ahead of RR.

My goal is to get far enough out, as stated before, that once Symphony starts to end, The Boy and the Stick has started. While they read TBatS, I'm editing Symphony for KU.

You, my adoring Patrons, will of course have already read all of TBatS. But there will likely be a breather between Symphony ending and TBatS starting, or I may go nuts.

Anyways. I hope you're all doing well, and thanks for reading my update. If there's anything you'd like to see more, or less, of, let me know.

Opening this up to all tiers to be a nice guy.

Thanks for the hard work.

As long as you take breaks as needed I'm happy since that means good chapters.
