August Updates

Hey everyone! It’s the beginning of a new month so I wanted to come on with a couple of updates regarding my plans for August.

I’ve remained quiet about it for a few weeks, but as of late June I’ve met my goal of earning $300 in pledges per month, thanks in particular to a few very generous patrons. This is the first time I’ve made more through Patreon than by doing commissions, which is a pretty huge deal for me - and all thanks to you, whose support (and patience) have made this possible. And while I’ll still have to do some commission work, meeting this goal allows me to focus much more on making Patreon content - including (hopefully) the ability to make more than one comic page each month. I’m still focused on making new bios for the comic cast, but after that I should hopefully be able to devote more time on the comic than I have before.

That said, I also hope to restructure my weekly schedule and become more efficient in my production process. I feel my lack of organization has led to delays in the past, as far as comics, pin-ups, commissions and Patreon rewards are concerned. So starting next week I’d like to try out devoting each day of the week to something in particular, perhaps like so:

- Monday, Wednesday and Friday: Kayla Komix/pin-ups

- Tuesday and Thursday: Commissions and Rewards

- Weekend: Days off for personal projects

It’s all tentative, but hopefully this structure is just what I need to keep everything running smoothly.

Finally, I wanted to announce that Kayla was the winner of last month’s poll, so he’ll be going on an ice cream binge on the beach in this month’s pin-up! I’ll probably focus on that once Java and Felipa’s bios are finished, so look out for that!
