[Gameplay improvement] New world map and Quest !

As I mentioned in a previous post, Update 5.0 will introduce a brand-new map! However, instead of dropping it all at once, I will gradually implement it, adding new content regularly until the full release of 5.0.

Why introduce a new map this way?

This new map will bring numerous improvements:

• Visually stunning, better optimized, and more immersive.

• Much larger, eliminating the current "theme park" feeling.

• Diverse points of interest, making exploration more exciting and rewarding.

You’ll experience the world in a completely new way, discovering exciting locations that feel truly alive!

A New Era for Quests

Alongside the new map, quests will undergo a massive transformation! Expect more depth, complexity, and meaningful interactions—think Skyrim-style, where NPCs are valuable and impactful. The goal is to create 15 quests, each taking around 30 minutes, depending on your skills and knowledge of the game.

Some quests will be simpler, but improved NPC interactions will allow for more nuanced objectives and richer storytelling.

What’s Changing in Quests?

✅ Integrated Lore: Every quest will feel naturally embedded in the world. Even small tasks will have purpose and context.

✅ Multi-Branching Paths: Quests will offer choices, leading to different outcomes, giving you more agency in shaping your adventure.

✅ Permanent Consequences: Once started, a quest cannot be retried. Success or failure, the story will move forward. You’ll live with your decisions, making each interaction unique to your playthrough.

✅ No Absolute Success: Quests will tell stories rather than just lead to a reward. Sometimes, you may want to fail, change paths, or abandon them altogether. Expect real consequences—a dead NPC, a rare item, losing money, or even gaining the admiration of an entire village. I’m not writing "victories"—I’m writing outcomes.

All of this is designed to deepen immersion and make your experience truly memorable.

When Will This Update Arrive?

Before 5.0 drops, some systems need a rework and optimization. I expect this update to be ready around summer, but stay tuned for more details!
