Hey gang - Producer Matt here. I saw a little bit of chatter on the Discord about the ticket price for this event, so I wanted to repost what I wrote there:

The concept from the start for us was to create a real concert film - mainly because it was such a ridiculous idea. So the performance itself made sense as a free concert for Patreons. But turning it into a full-on movie release required a lot of additional time and money - camera crew, gear rentals, paying all the designers/artists for the merch/etc. And it really is a collaboration with Ben Levin who isn’t a part of our Patreon. So while it was obviously born out of the OH world it’s really its own thing that we want to see live on in a proper way.

All that being said - these premieres are more like ticketed events that would happen in a theater without the pandemic. And there will be less expensive ways to watch the movie later and the plan is to put the soundtrack up on all the streaming sites (and/or available to Patreons in some format).
