Please, Please Let It Be - Episode 4

After a brief pause for Tim to do Thursday's Office Hours, Tim and Eric Notarnicola are back at it with a look at "Beatles For Sale," the Beatles' fourth album.

Please, Please Let It Be is a limited series podcast from Tim Heidecker and writer/director Eric Notarnicola (Mister America, Decker, On Cinema, Nathan For You, Who Is America) exploring the entire Beatles catalogue. Only available for Office Hours Live patreon subscribers.

Vastly underrated album. A stronger instrumentation showing then lyrical. Their first post weed album (after the Dylan NYC meetup). Hence, perhaps, part of the "malaise". Minor correction. Eight Days A Week is the first fade in on a pop/non-classical album. Fade in's were only used at the time for classical records prior to this. The drums part of "What You're Doing" was inspired by a female group (the tea cloths on the tom), which the name escapes me.

Randomly stuck this on so gave pblb a listen. Every little thing and what your doing are great. Every little thing almost sounds like guided by voices or something
