I totally agree with you. I'm just worried that some viewers might think that what they see is acceptable that's why I have to be vocal about it somehow that it's not acceptable in real life. Consent is really important no matter what your gender is. And OMG. The emotional manipulation is just...cringy for me. Huhuhu With TinCan, they really hyped this couple especially at the latter episodes and boom, they broke our hearts in the end when we started to love them already. Huhuhu

2021-12-09 08:05:28 +0000 UTCThe way I see it, if Kla wasn't cute or Techno was a girl the audience would easily see the whole thing for what it really was. Rape. You were right that rape has no gender, but here they capitalized on comedy and it being two guys. Whatever happens after doesn't change that for me. And then the manipulation ... I see it as completely toxic. Even if he manages to fool and seduce Techno with his lies. I just find it so odd that they can do the Tar/Tum plotline and then play Kla/Techno for the comic value. Just because Techno's facial expressions were comic, they were really ones of fear and shock. But it was done to make us laugh. Sigh. PS. I agree about everything re: Tin/Can. They wound up dominating the show for me, especially by the end.
