what do you guys prefer?emily comic question
Added 2019-01-08 12:39:46 +0000 UTCso pages in sketch phase is nearly done starting emily page 3, and i want to know before i line and color...what do you prefer?between the new softer style,like page 19, or the hard black lines and hatching like page 12?
i jsut thought id get some opinions so i can stick to one solid style the whole part through! im torn, i really like the soft, but the inked and hatching has alot of character. in the end, i have to choose based on workload, but it def helps having you guys opinion ;u;
also tomorrow ill finally reveal the first character of the comic thats in progress, playdate, that will start sometime early this year ;u;

hehe, im really really glad you liked committed ;u; the rewrite wont be too off the wall at all, its actually more fixing what didnt work, since i had SOOOOOO much in mind, but it got out of control. it was meant to be this huge story, but in the end it just was too much uneeded stuff, so i kinda cleaned up and simplified things a bit ;u; i dearly hope its liked!

I think soft is better, but that's also -months- more comics-making XP, not to mention a style shift which (I think?) took place just as Emily was being introduced to the rest of the class, etc., so it's possible that what I'm seeing is more 'general work improvement' than 'stylistic superiority'.
