Scene Inspiration
Added 2023-10-09 21:19:45 +0000 UTCInspirational pic for what I'm working on today. It's a super emotional scene with a heavy discussion after that I've been dreading and kind of avoiding because I haven't struck the right tone and words yet, but we'll get there.
You guys! Last couple of chapters, I've been so tempted to put in Roth's POV, but putting it in would ruin everything. I've even considered doing Mo or Johan's POV just to get a different perspective on what's happening but they aren't around for the key moments, it's just her and Roth. Ugh. It would be so jarring to suddenly include his POV and during such a heightened scene, I wouldn't be able to just give a few lines of insight, I would go deep and I can't with him yet. (I know this makes no sense now, but you'll understand later.)
Sorry for my cryptic babbling... Maybe I can put just one or two lines... Ugh

I figure it out as I go. Chapter by chapter, his reactions are still a surprise to me. Sounds weird but I actually have to write out what's happening and try to figure out why he might be reacting that way. Sometimes I'll even have to go into his POV to figure it out. But yes, I know the reasoning behind what he's done thus far.

Mia, do you know why he does what he does every step of the way or do you figure it out as you write? Like do you have the whole reasoning behind whatever he’s done so far?
