Shaving my head is something I have always wanted to do; I would really like to be bald at least once, but I decided to not shave all my hair off entirely. lol. To be honest, I did not feel like beholding the shock of everyone that knew me who saw my head bald. SO I went with a very short buzz. The feeling of the razor shaving the hair felt amazing. There is a good bit of weight in the hair I did not realize until it was coming off of my head. I did not have to worry about styling it for at least 7 months. It was liberating to not even have to LOOK at my hair in the mornings!
There were some who loved my shaved head, and there were those who did not like it so much. Ultimately, I would do it again because it felt good for ME. I try to remain as authentic as possible, and so I wanted to share these thoughts with you.
