Angel explained why he was there (school basement). He was bringing the book Giles wanted. The reason why he came in through the basement is Angel is a vampire, so he often uses underground tunnels and vasements to move around avoiding sunlight. Cordelia centered episode is heaven for me being Cordy my favourite character. I so enjoyed the way you laughed at her remarks XDDD And for someone who knows her it's not surprising to see her thanking the gang for helping her, because Cordy's secret is speaking exactly what's on her mind. Whether it's nasty or pleasant she just lets it out. I love this episode. It's focused on an incredibly self-centered person (Cordelia), but the monster is a former victim. While Marcie showed no empathy, Cordy actually pitied her. You can't imagine how unusual this concept was for the 90's. Popular girls were one dimensional evil creatures and victims were just waiting to be rescued. Thank you so much, Liam!!
