UNCUT Moonlight Chicken Ep 4 Reaction

You have a cold, don't you? It's true Thai BLs focus mostly in the romantic part of the story, but I think we've seen so far quite a few great not romantic interactions, like Porsche and Porchay's relationship in KinnPorsche and the whole group dynamic in Not Me. "Maybe him and First could meet", LMAO!! So you're shipping shipped couples too? That's my boy!! XDDD Thank you so much, Liam!!

Definitely one of my favorite episode of the series. That scene in the silent mass is so moving for so many reasons. First, because Li Ming took Heart there so he could socialize with other people with hearing disabilities. It's quite easy to understand that Heart learnt sign language all on his own and never had anyone, before Li Ming, to communicate with, so for Li Ming to help him open up to the outside world again after such a long isolation, I couldn't help crying. The second thing about this scene is the Ford cameo that I never expected. He plays the piano and sings the OST song called 'Tomorrow'. You didn't recognise him but he's also in My School President, he plays Por, who sang the ballad in episode 3 during the ballroom dance scene. I love his voice so much. Then we have the priest talk with Li Ming about how deaf people are the loneliest and thinking how Heart was isolated in his home during Covid lockdown and with parents who only communicate with him via notes... it's even more heartbreaking... And bless Li Ming who feels unsure he's doing well while he's already done so much more than Heart's parents. Then there are all the little moments about the side characters, first the happy ones and then hint at trouble... Gaipa's mom holding the medication, Leng worrying about money for his wife and baby... and of course, the one scene that we knew was coming but dreaded: Alan showing up at the restaurant... Honestly, First, Mixx and Earth's acting in this scene is good. I had chills watching it the first time. First is a talended actor when it comes to heavy scenes (this series and the Eclipse are good exemples, also Yok in the hospital scene in Not Me). And all three did so well, even P'aof praised them a lot for their acting aftet the episode aired. Another amazing scene, and you definitely talked about how good it was, it's the fight between Jim and Li Ming. Fourth was 17 or 18 when he filmed that series and despite being so young, he's not coming up short in his acting skills with an older actor. The way the fight is so raw, with Li Ming raising his voice and immediately apologising afterwards, goosepumps! And the music building up until that moment and then silence and calmer music afterwards, just perfect. And the scene ending with Jim looking at the papers about working overseas, shows us that he's listened to Wen in the previous episode, and he's not fully closed off about Li Ming's project. And as you said, Jim might have planned talking about it with Li Ming but then the fight happened. They're both really stubborn too, which doesn't help... Another scene I love was the one with Gaipa and his mom. Their reliationship are like best friends. She's so supportive of her son and love how she wants him to have a boyfriend, encouraging him in his pursuing of Jim. Gaipa is such a sweetheart, and Khaotung just melted my heart in all his scenes. Also, you probably didn't notice but the mom was signing the opening song, saying it's the song she used to seduce Gaipa's dad. You saying Gaipa should go with First's character made me chuckle because of them being together in the Eclipse (their chemistry is so good). The first scene with Heart and Li Ming in the bed is one of the most intimate scene I've seen on tv in a while. The way it was filmed is so beautiful with the light behind their hands, the music and their expressions showing the start of young first love, it's so perfect. The next episode has top tier acting as well and I can't wait for you to see it. You probably read it in my comment for episode 3, but the other actor from Not Me I mentioned was Papang who plays Jim's ex Beam, and Gumpa in Not Me. I agree with you saying you're exicted to see some actors in different roles. It's really interesting to see how some of them can play so many diverse roles. Ohm, for exemple, I saw him in quite a few series and one movie, and he grew so much as an actor. It's especially noticeable if you compare his acting in Bad Buddy and Our Skyy. He really has improved a lot. And Nanon, who I watched in too many series (my bias is so strong lol) well he's played so many different roles and he's grown a lot too. His first adult role to come is in a series called The Jungle (about playboys but with a twist) and just the trailer showed us a very different kind of acting. The series will also have Mixx and Off (Sean in Not me) as main characters, no air date yet but it should be announced soon. Ok, sorry, this comment is getting out of hand lol. Can't wait for the next reaction :D

your reactions to Heart and Li Ming's adorable scenes together are very relatable haha, I love it! everyone's acting really is crazy good, and the music like you keep mentioning really is fantastic. I always noticed that the first time watching as well, but it's just as noticable when re-watching it too (the general re-watch value for this series is really really high tbh). oh and btw, you've probably seen too little of his character in My School President for you to have recognised him here, but the guy playing the piano and singing in the church at the end of the episode is the same actor that plays Por in MSP: the band member on keyboard and the one singing the slow-dancing song at the end of ep 3!

tova~

i'm really happy you're loving this show! it's one of the best shows i've ever watched. the next episode is my favorite (right behind ep7).
