2024-05-27 22:09:22 +0000 UTCthe industrial revolution is the parallel to AI and how many people lost their jobs, think about it this way, there were thousands of factories with people working in them assembling technology like cars etc, now its all done by machines, hundreds of thousands of people lost their jobs. which will happen again, every single customer service job, every coder, every job that involves mathematics, shit even editors or architects will be replaced with AI eventually, all it takes it to fashion an AI that can do it better than the people currently employed to do it, and it will leave millions if not BILLIONS out of work. we're running towards the apocalypse as fast as we can with AI but no one seems to be as worried as they should be.
