It’s time for another weekly anime news update~!

With Anime Expo going on this past weekend, boy do we have a lot to share with you!

Starting off with news that actually didn’t come from AX, the "Hero Fes." event announced the title, visual, and December 20 opening for My Hero Academia’s 2nd anime film, which according to the creator, Kohei Horikoshi, will be the last, “Probably.” To find out more, check out this article~!

Crunchyroll announced that it will be “bringing over” the Konosuba movie, however the details of what that means is still unclear and will be revealed in the future. Crunchyroll will be streaming 2 OVAs for the movie though, so you can look forward to that in the meantime!! For more information, you can check out these two articles here and here~!

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is coming to Toonami with an English dub~ For more info, you can take a look at this page!

Timeless classic, Akira, is getting a new anime project! The previous film for the series was released in 1988, before the manga had finished, so with this new project, the staff says they “want to incorporate the entirety of the manga's story.” The earlier film will also be getting a 4K remaster set to release in April of next year.
