The story of the best assassin in the world, retiring from that world to a simple family man father running a convenient store! Oh, and he canonically let himself get fat, as he descended into the homey lifestyle that allowed for it. Naturally a show with that premise hits a lot of my favorite buttons, so I was more than happy to give him a 'lil of the doomsdaypecs treatment. Routinely through the episodes there's the running gag/theme of him burning through all his poundage in order to do impromptu super assassin shit, but always puts all the weight immediately back on due to his abundant and unashamed appetite. Love that for him! With summer being in full swing, and no shortage of folks muttering through high temps, thoughts aligned— we can appreciate an extra big man finding ways to beat the heat!

Apologies for a later DD post than usual this month, I had a dreadful bout of the stomach flu that took me out for the first week. Brutal bit of fuckery to wade through, and naturally all I did was stress about being behind on work. Thankfully I'm on the mend (knock on wood) and I hope I can make up for it the rest of the month!
