Big Band and Orchestra! The Results!

Orchestra

The orchestra was a 70 piece one, we recorded at the Eastwood Scoring Stage in LA, Warner Bros lot. This stage has been used for lots of great movies and games, including Coco, Moana, Up etc.

Just a note, just because we recorded at their sound stage does not mean we are now associated to WB or that they have control over our game or IP in any form. They have an open lot policy meaning that companies can pay to rent their space.

The results were amazing! Here are some videos. We managed to record every single song we needed and something fun and silly for a cutscene (you'll have to wait to see what it is)

It's important to note that none of these songs are mixed yet and are recorded with my phone, final quality will sound even better when its done!

Big Band

For the Big Band we recorded in Vancouver! We used the Warehouse. It was a great day and we recorded for 5 different songs. We spent the rest of the week at Daniels house as he was very sweet to offer us a place to stay before flying to LA together. We had a lovely time and even got to record a bit on some of the songs

Also Daniels dog, Tempo, was everything. I love her, I don't consider myself a dog person but gosh, Tempo won my heart

We can only show some of the songs, sadly the best songs are spoilers. However, we had a film crew for both the Big Band and Orchestra. The backerkit also funded a documentary mini series of every single song. We had an entire day of filming with Daniel, Ash and myself. We go into depth about each song, about its creation and the process behind it. We even had some special guests for the documentary! This will eventually be released on Youtube for free.

I want to thank everyone for an amazing experience. We would be nothing without you guys, and I hope we make you proud with the final result!
