I suppose it's only fitting that this episode would have become unstuck in time, huh? We planned and recorded this look back at the Bill & Ted films and games a couple of months ago with the intent of running it immediately before the launch of Bill & Ted Face The Music, only to have the film's release leap forward in time a couple of weeks and cause our podcast to come out a little belatedly. Wibbly-wobbly indeed.
Regardless, there are the usual notes here: Praise for the films, mingled with disappointment over jokes that haven't aged well, venom and dismay about the games... and a surprise discovery of a game that isn't actually bad!? UK-based blog correspondent Stuart Gipp joins the regular podcast crew this time around to share an interesting outsider perspective on the franchise. Anyway, this is less of an appetizer for the upcoming film than a post-viewing sorbet, but it's a good time all the same.
As a last-minute add-on, I've also included a short conversation with the man behind the Spectrum Next Kickstarter campaign, which is something that caught my eye a few weeks ago and I wanted to promote. There's still another 10 days to go (or so) as of this posting, so give it a look. Consider this interview our penance for all the terrible slander we committed against European platformers in the Bill & Ted segment.
