Retronauts Episode 217: Game Boy at Midwest Gaming Classic

This was recorded live at Midwest Gaming Classic a couple of weekends ago, and that means the audio isn't exactly studio-grade. The first section (the 40-minute main event panel with myself, Bob, Kohler, and Caitlin) sounds pretty solid, thanks to Jason Gares of Video Workbench Productions. However, the second section (a 20-minute TED talk on Heiankyo Alien) is basically a bad audience bootleg recorded without a proper setup on a single stick mic in front of speakers we had to get working ourselves. So you'll forgive the shoddy quality, I hope? I'll try to do a proper Heiankyo Alien talk someday, just you wait.
Oh, and the cover art is a self-portrait masterpiece by none other than Cassie Hart Kelly!

It is a lot tougher a choice between Castlevania Adventure and that Tiger Handheld. At least the Tiger game doesn’t have that terrible spike stage. Also, I do wish I could find the Heiankyo Alien apple ii version, but I don’t think it’s online. That would be a wonderful artifact if any of the old developers still had the disk!
