What a problematic game, I never finished it, never had the desire. Something about the island setting just aesthetically did not vibe with me. A little bit is fine but having the entirety of the game based around that wears thin quickly. That is personal to myself, and I still recognize the game has greatness somewhere. I do agree about some of the other problems the game has, but I believe there is such potential with the water pack. If only they had another 6 months with it. Oh well. Nobody mentioned how Nintendo was using one of their most popular series to make a political statement about pollution. Of course a good message never equals quality art, it still bears mentioning, and I feel that piece was left out of the discussion.
