This is the episode that piqued my curiosity regarding Earthbound. Then I asked Bob and the Lasertime fellas if the game still holds up and I'm so glad I did. Loving everything about it. It's incredibly charming. For a game this old it honestly feels new. The world feels lived in. I have to talk to every single character and see what they have to say. Usually I find that talking to NPC'S in some games can be really tedious. Yet, in this title I actually look forward to hearing their stories. Obviously the music is also fantastic. I love entering different buildings and tuning in to the sounds. I think it was the hotel in Onett Town that really caught by surprise by how smooth it is. Can't wait to discover more of the game. Also, now I can see why people have been clamoring so much for Mother 3 to come here.
